Baxter Brewing Company, out of Lewiston, Maine, is everything a Maine business aspires to be: they are environmentally conscious, they source from local vendors, and, of course, they are wildly popular!

Producing everything from sessionable ales to punchy IPAs in some of the slickest-designed cans in Maine, Baxter can be found in almost every town in the state, from Portland to Millinocket.

Julia, the tasting room manager, sat down with me to talk about Baxter’s history, their philosophy, and their moose-headed logo.
